Day 05
Bismillah ArRahman ArRaheem
Time: 6:00
Yesterday was pretty much normal.. Taraweeh wasn’t so bad either, except I surprisingly got really tired during the last 4 Rakah’s and could hardly stand for Shafa’ and Witr.
A few days ago, we had a new convert take the shahadah. Yesterday, the Imam announced that two brothers had passes away yesterday morning, May Allah have mercy on them. There was Janazah today… Ina lillah wa Ina Ilayhi Raji’oon..
My friends mom started looking someone sick that she could visit right after she heard the announcement because of the hadeeth where the Prophet peace be upon him, asked him companions who was fasting, and Abu Bakr said me, then he asked who followed or prayed the janazah and who visited a sick person and gave sadaqah, or something like that, and Abu Bakr kept on saying me, me, me. And the Prophet told him that who ever had all these characteristics combined together in one day then they would enter Jannah. I’m gona look for the exact quote inshallah.
Anywayz so that sister, she always strives to do all of the above.. May Allah accept it from her.
Iftaar is in 2 hours, I’m going to go watch a Seerah program now.

To Allah (SWT) to we belong and to Him do we return…wow…that breaks my heart. That could have been me. You. But we don’t think about these things because we’re busy with life. You know, we’ve got work or school. Or we gotta go to this place, gotta go to that place. Buy some more shoes even though I only need one pair. I’m going nuts because of my exams coming up. Thats how it is. Why aren’t we going nuts about our akhirah? Michael Jackson passed away sometime ago too. Theres a quote, it says, “Yesterday it was Michael Jackson. Tomorrow it will be us. If we knew what awaits us in our akhirah, we’d stop crying for the deceased and start crying for ourselves.”
