Time: 3:30
I’m loving Ramadan right now
We decided yesterday that we didn’t need to spend the night before cooking for Suhoor, specially since no one really ate much. So this morning I had waffles and some lasagna that was left over from last night’s Iftaar with a glass of fruit punch (with ice!). Weird combo i know..
Last night I made a small list of things I should stop and/or work on during Ramadan (and after)
- Anger Management – I noticed i tend to loose my anger on small trivial things, specially these last 2 days… maybe its because of the hunger? Allahu A3lam but I’m gona work on that inshallah.
- Helping out around the house. I’m constantly getting told off that I’m not helping out with anything – which is not true – but that’s second.
- Time management – lol I really really need to work on this one. I think I can get the gold medal for wasting time subhanallah..
I noticed I’m a few pages behind in my Quran reading – will have to make up for that…
Last night I thought there would be less people at Taraweeh but no, the numbers mutiplied by 3 or 4 times mashallah! The bad side of that was – it was suffocating! And getting your shoes from the shoe rack while dozens and dozens of women are pushing you trying to get to their own shoeswas the worst part lol. My sister forgot her sweator in the Musallah and had to wait about 10 minutes for the crowd to lesson up before going back upstairs – otherwise she would have been pushed back down.
Although I think that its great that there are so many people coming, I hope there aren’t as many people tonight.
There was a brother who became Muslim right after Taraweeh. What better time to become muslim huh?
The Sheikh: Say La.
The new brother: Say La
The Sheikh: No no, don’t say the ’say’ part
Lol! May Allah keep him and all of us steadfast on the Deen, Ameen!

wow, i think its awesome that u actually got to make an “improvment” list. i find it really sad that even though we don’t have school, i don’t have time for the really important things in ramadan. may Allah make it easy for us all.
Ameen,
the easy part is making the list, the hard part is actually making that improvement,
See you tonight inshallah,
Thats so true. The easy part is making the list, the hard part is actually following through and maintaining the good stuff. Well, may Allah (SWT) purify our hearts so that we will love that which He (SWT) loves and hate that which He (SWT) hates, ameen ameen thumma ameen. Imagine having a desire to do good. SubhanAllah.
