Day 02
Bismillah ArRahman ArRaheem
Time: 12:00 PM
We got back from Taraweeh last night around 11:40 and with all the muslims there it was like a miniture Eid. But the guys forgot to turn on the Air Conditioner in the women’s section, so you can imagine how hot it was with over a hundred ladies. But alhamdulillah it got cooler near the end 7 Rakah’s. The guy who leads at our Masjid has a really nice – mashallah – voice. My friend said it was like a mixture of Sudais and some other Qari that I can’t recall the name. There’s also a new Imam – our old Imam and Sheikh moved to Abu Dhabi, sadly – that came from Saudi though he’s Egyptian and I hear he’s going to be leading Taraweeh this year so I’m looking foward to that. He gave a short 5-10 minute reminder during the short break and it was nicee! I wish i could’ve recorded it..
Overall it was great, but its sad to know that the numbers wil dramatically decrease in just a few more days. Muhammed Alshareef calls it the 5-2-4 Ratio lol.
Yesterday I lasted the entire day without feeling any hunger, and now it’s not even 1:00 and I’m h-u-n-g-r-y
